Advanced Course Summary

If you have already completed the PADI Open Water Diver course and are wondering what to do next: the PADI Advanced Course!

The Advanced open water course consists of minimum 5 dives in different speciality areas.
A nice relaxed option is to do 2 dives per day and do our longer Advanced Open Water Course. This will give you 6 dives over 3 days!

As part of the PADI Advanced Course you must complete at least 1 deep dive, going down to more than 18 meters. Next to that the Navigation Dive is also compulsory. In addition you will do 3 other dives in different speciality areas, which could include Fish Identification, Wreck, Shark Conservation and many other dives. You will also complete one more fundive on one of the days. We can discuss your options by email or when you arrive on Koh Lanta at Andaman Dive Adventure.

After successfully finishing this PADI Advanced diving course you will receive a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification card.
With this diving card you will be able to dive to a depth of 30m with other certified divers.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 12 years
  • Previous diving experience: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent
  • Complete a diving medical (check you are fit for diving)

PADI Advanced Course Details

  • Duration: 3 days, 6 dives
  • Knowledge development: not much theory, so you could do this on your arrival day
  • Day 1: Complete 2 open water dives from our boat
  • Day 2: Complete 2 open water dives from our boat
  • Day 3: Complete 2 open water dives from our boat
  • Maximum depth: 30 meters
