PADI Rescue Course
Course Summary
The PADI Rescue Course or PADI Rescue Diver Course is ideal for experienced divers, who want to improve their confidence and ability in the water.
Next to a required step on the path to becoming a PADI Divemaster, you can also complete this rescue course with no plans to become a professional.
Furthermore you will learn a range of skills and techniques to help identify and fix common issues, taking care of yourself as well as others. First you will role-play various rescue situations with our instructors and other Padi Rescue course participants. Initially you will learn in open water from the beach, Longbeach at Koh Lanta. Finally you will practice from our boat for the Final Scenarios on dive sites.
Requirements
Minimum age: 12 years
Previous diving experience: PADI Adventure Diver (or equivalent) with proof of underwater navigation
First aid and CPR certificate: EFR Primary and Secondary Care training (or proof of equivalent training) within the past 24 months. This can be also be completed alongside the Rescue course with us.
Complete a diving medical (check you are fit for diving)
PADI Rescue Course Details
Duration: 3 days (2 days theory/from the beach, 1 day from the boat)
Theory: Online e-learning before you arrive
Day 1: Review e-learning theory, then skills training from the beach
Day 2: Review e-learning theory, then skills training from the beach
Day 3: Complete 2 training dives from our boat (Final Scenarios)
