PADI Divemaster Course Summary

Start your scuba dive career with the first step: PADI divemaster course. You can start your PADI Dive master training already after 40 logged dives. In addition you need to have completed all courses up to the PADI Rescue Diver course. Or you can also do your Padi divemaster training as part of an internship with Andaman Dive Adventure on Koh Lanta.

Because you will be working closely with your PADI scuba diving instructor, you will expand your dive knowledge. As a result you will also improve your dive skills to the professional level. The best part of this PADI Pro course is learning to help student divers overcome diving difficulties.

PADI Dive masters are also qualified to supervise and assist with both training and non training dive activities. Therefore dive centers and resorts around the world use PADI Dive masters to assist with dive classes and guide under water tours. Furthermore PADI Dive masters may also guide certified divers and teach Refresher Courses for certified divers. They may also conduct the PADI Discover Snorkeling experience and the PADI Skin Diver course.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Previous diving experience: PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
• Previous first aid experience: Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care training (or equivalent training) within the past 24 months
• Complete a diving medical with a physician within the past 12 months
• Logged dives: At least 40 dives before the start of the course. 60 logged dives before the certification.
• Able to swim 400 meters without stopping or using any swimming aids.
• Able to swim 800 meters without stopping using mask, snorkel and fins
• Float or tread water for 15 minutes
