Dive Sites
Andaman Dive Adventure Lanta brings guests diving to the 35 different dive sites of Koh Lanta. Lanta has the following dive areas: Koh Ha, Koh Bidas, Koh Phi Phi, Hin Daeng & Hin Muang, Kled Kaew Wreck, Koh Yung, Anemone Reef & Shark Point, Koh Rok & Hin Luang. Some of these are local, others are far away.
Because of the distance to far away dive sites (Koh Yung, Anemone Reef, Koh Rok and Hin Daeng), we charge divers an extra fee for gasoline.
Depending on your dive experience and diving certification level, we assign divers to our divemasters. So we create mall diving groups, with max. 4 divers per Padi dive master. We can also advise on the best sites for you to dive. Each dive site has a great diversity of fish life and beautiful corals for all divers to enjoy. This will result in a nicer diving experience for you.
Koh Lanta’s diving season is from October till end of May. In our rainy/green season our main marine parks are closed and diving is only sometimes possible on Koh Phi Phi area.
Suitable dive sites Koh Lanta for training dives
As Koh Ha has great visibility and is well protected from waves: these are the easiest sites. Therefore snorkelers, children and guests who are not comfortable at swimming should really go to dive places in Koh Ha area.
Koh Ha is also more quiet than for instance Koh Phi Phi area and has mooring lines for boats. This results in less boat movement and snorkelers and divers have an easier entry and exit.
Andaman Dive Adventure Lanta loves to teach also the final scenario of the PADI Rescue Diver course at Koh Ha. The reason is the safer surfacing of the victim. Koh PP has too many speedboats to do this scenario. For macro enthusiasts the quieter area makes it easier to find the small stuff and Koh Ha has lots.
