Would you like to learn how to make safer dive profiles on Nitrox and also the benefits for you? The PADI Elearning during your Nitrox – Add on Package teaches you this. Enriched air, also known as Nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air, which makes this possible. The oxygen content is also higher, hence the term ‘enriched air’.
You can complete the Nitrox – Add on Package as an add on to your fun dives. Also as part of another course, such as the PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.
You can also complete the Padi Nitrox Course on its own with 2 Nitrox dives.
During the course, you will learn what enriched air is and what the advantages and disadvantages are. The advantages are that less nitrogen waste enters the body, resulting in a lower risk of decompression sickness. It also allows you to dive more conservatively (using a dive computer in what is referred to as air mode) or stay underwater longer. The disadvantages are more detailed planning. It is important not to dive too deep with Nitrox and to make sure that you test correctly. You will learn all this during your PADI Nitrox course.
The price of the Nitrox – Add on Package includes only the Nitrox E-Learning Theory, which you can complete online yourself.
