Nitrox Course – Enriched Air Diver Course

Nitrox Course Summary

Would you like to learn how to make safer dive profiles on Nitrox and also the benefits for you? Enriched air, also known as Nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air, which makes this possible. It has a higher ontent of oxygen inside.

You can either complete the PADI Enriched Air course with 2 Nitrox dives, or as part of another course as an Add On, such as the PADI Open Water Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

During the course, you will learn what enriched air is and its advantages and disadvantages. On one hand the benefits are less nitrogen waste in your body, resulting in lower chances of decompression sickness. Furthermore, it allows you to dive more conservatively (on the so-called air mode of your dive computer) or stay under water longer. On the other hand the disadvantages are tighter planning. Be careful not to dive too deep on Nitrox and make sure you test properly. You will also learn this during the Nitrox course.

Furthermore the price for the day trip includes breakfast, lunch, fruit, water and soft drinks as well as Nitrox, the necessary equipment and one of our PADI diving instructors. The marine park fees however are not included in the price. You can complete the Nitrox e-learning theory already online the day before.
